Larry moved into Mirabella in 2014 after living in a previous Assisted Living community. He decided to move to Mirabella because he liked the food and service better, and has since loved living at our community. A proud veteran, Larry is very social and has made many new friends, and enjoys participating in many of our community activities. He most enjoys golfing, walking, and driving cross-country.
Larry served as a Master Sergeant in the US Army Air Corps and served in the England and Europe Theatres. He has recently been selected to travel to DC as a part of Honor Flight DFW. Larry has enjoyed meeting the other veterans living at our community and attends activities and events with them regularly.
Meeting his wife of over 40 years was the greatest thing that ever happened to Larry, and they have a beautiful family that he is very proud of. He values education, saying more young adults should take advantage of the educational opportunities available to them. Family and health matter most to him in life, followed by success.
After moving to Mirabella, Larry has become more active and had a decrease in health issues. He says that living at Mirabella is the medicine he needed to get better. We love seeing Larry flourish at our community!
There is a comfort level here with the residents and associates where we are truly cared for. It is home. I’m so glad I came to Mirabella. The community was recommended to me by a neighbor, and I’ve found it feels like home.
Larry, resident at Mirabella since 2014
